Walks last approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. Meet by the Walker Statue opposite Lynmouth National Park Centre on the Esplanade, Lynmouth. Regular walks start at 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays; any extra walks have their own date and time in the calendar. All times are local UK time. Please contact Dan before booking if you have questions about access or suitability.
Prices and party size
Scheduled walks cost £14.50 per guest aged 16 or over. Under-16s are free but must be accompanied by a paying adult aged 18 or over. Everyone counts towards the maximum of 20 people, or a lower capacity shown for a particular walk. Scheduled walks need at least two paying guests in total. Single-place requests are welcome and may wait for another paying guest before approval. Private tours are priced by enquiry; Dan agrees the total price with you before inviting payment.
Request, approval and payment
Submitting a request does not confirm a booking or take payment. Requests close 24 hours before a scheduled walk. Dan reviews requests and may decline if he cannot accommodate them. Check the details before submitting; reply to Dan if you notice an error.
After approval, your places are held for full payment through Stripe. The payment deadline is 12 hours after approval or one hour before the tour, whichever comes first. Approval requires at least 30 minutes to pay, so it must be completed no later than 90 minutes before the tour. You will receive a payment reminder after six hours, or halfway through a payment window of six hours or less. Your booking is confirmed only when payment has been verified and a confirmation email is sent.
If payment is not completed by the deadline, the reservation expires and the places are released. Please make a new request if you still wish to join. No additional booking commission is charged through this website. Private tours follow the same payment deadlines.
Cancellations, transfers and refunds
If you request cancellation at least 24 hours before the tour, you qualify for a full refund. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the tour, no refund is due under this booking policy, but you may request a transfer to an available date, subject to Dan’s approval.
If Dan cancels the tour, you may choose a full refund or a transfer, whichever you prefer. These arrangements also apply to private tours. Nothing in this policy takes away your statutory rights.
Use the private link in your booking emails to request a cancellation or transfer, or contact Dan. Refund eligibility uses the time your cancellation request is received, rather than when Dan reviews it. Transfers need approval and are confirmed by email. Refunds return to the original payment method; your bank may take several working days to display the money.
